I have eaten several times as well as several dishes at Marcellas, and can not rave enough about how delicious the food really is, not counting the wonderful service. I highly recommend this restaurant.

average food. pizza crust was dense, staff does not speak English very well noisy environment hostile hot-tempered manager inexperienced non-English speaking hostile hot-tempered waitress overcharged us for our meal and kept the difference along with a very generous over-20% tip as a massive 65% over and above what our meal actually cost as her "tip". manager doesn't "get it", that the staff made a mistake, and was too busy yelling at me on my birthday to realize that he could have avoided a public yelp review by simply saying "it was a mistake, we apologize". I didn't want the money back, but I would not have said no to a free pizza.

Worst place ever. We waited 1hr and 17 minutes and this place is literally WALKING distance from my house. I guess it's our fault for not going to get it ourselves, but we figured they would deliver within a reasonable amount of time. DON'T order for delivery ...as many other reviews can confirm

I ordered a pizza today for delivery along with garlic rolls and a clam chowder soup.To say I was disappointed is an understatement. The pizza dough was undercooked and so soggy it broke apart as you grabbed a slice from the box.It didn't taste too good either and had way to much basil. The garlic rolls were ok and the soup tasted like something out of a can.I will not be ordering from here again. The only thing that was good was the 2 liter of soda I ordered.

This place is very unprofessional. They make you wait over an hour and a half for your food for delivery in which was supposed to arrive in 30 to 45 minutes. They don't fix the problems and on top of that the food is cold on arrival. When I asked after waiting over an hour and half patiently for my order what their managers were gonna do about it they expected me to pay full price and pretty much said deal with it. This place will never see another dollar from me and I recommend anybody who reads this picks another restaurant

I ordered the pasta with meat sauce, chicken parmesan and it tasted horrible. it came with garlic bread which was old and ordered a side of caesar salad and instead received a house salad. Ive been a fan of this restaurant for its fresh and homemade Italian flavors but now I'm very disappointed.

I wish at these times of bad reviews that there were a zero star option. I ordered from here online at 8:15p. The estimated delivery time was supposed to be for 8:59p. Someone from this location called me TWICE and I missed the call at 8:20p. I called back and the girl over the phone was trying to confirm my development. I gave her my info and she politely said ok and hung up. At 9:17 I called because it was a little over a hour at that point. The same girl answered. I asked where the driver was and she was mumbling something..she then passed the phone to the driver who explained to me that they do not deliver to my location! We are in the same zip code! I asked why did the girl call me to verify my address and didn't say something then!! He was nice but I was pissed!! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! Or if you do please verify your address with them. Freaking ridiculous..

The manager is down right fantastic! When the rude young lady named Tyrani who took our order couldn't explain that right before 3 pm the menu in the computer takes away the lunch special prices she was saying one order was $18. Instead of making a fuss we tried to say sorry for the inconvenience and cancel our order, she hung up on us. The manager was nice enough to call us back to try to fix the problem. However two of the dressings and one order was put in incorrectly. As long as that disrespectful child works there we will NEVER order from there again. Though we respect the managers effort to help, his staffs lack of professionalism will continue to make him lose customers.

We ordered 2 pizzas for the office, the driver showed up almost 2hrs late, pizza cold and soggy. When we called to find out about the order the phone went without answered two times , then they just told us the pizza was on the way. On top of everything, the pizza was just average. We will not be ordering from this place again

I don't go out to restaurants that much, but when I do, I like it to be consistent. Marcella's is that. The place is usually very busy and the staff works very hard. If you are pleasant to them, they are the same to you. I can't understand other reviews saying otherwise about the staff, except that I have seen some very rude and scary people that the staff have to deal with and still try to be pleasant. Okay, enough about that. The food-- the portions are tremendous! We always have enough for a full meal in a doggy bag, so great value. My favorite part is the garlic rolls. Yum! These are so good that maybe that's why I'm full by the time my meal comes. Someone said they are skimpy on cheese. I've never seen that. My son-in-law always gets the veal parmigiana and there is loads of everything! I am partial to the fish entrees and they never disappoint. Usually dessert, tiramisu, ends up in the doggy bag too. I will definitely be back.

Don't bother. Stopped in to grab an order to go and got to stand around watching an entire episode of Kitchen Nightmares. I think the owner was waiting for the number to call for help at the end of the show. I should have walked out when I asked the hostess/cashier for a take out menu and was told they did not have any. I followed up with "do you have a menu?" and I was told that there was when on the counter. I ordered a florentine pizza and stuffed shells. The shells came out fifteen minutes before the pizza. I had to ask for the salad that came with it because the cashier forgot all about the fact that she asked me what kind of dressing I wanted. When I asked for a knife and fork for the shells and salad, the owner finally got off his rear to start looking in cupboards. I left without any utensils or napkins. The owner's excuse for the delay (the pizza took over 30 minutes) was that they had a lot of orders in the back. I should note that there were only two parties of six in the whole place. The big orders were for a nearby gymnastics school. Neither shells or pizza had much flavor. Bland would be a compliment. I wish I had read the Yelp reviews before stopping here.

Customer seevice was friendly and decent but Wheres the cheese? Tasty food but skimpy on the ingredients...As a first timer I did a quick take-out. I ordered a medium chicken parmagian pizza. Not impressed but will go back to try other things on the menu.

I ordered a pizza at 4 in the afternoon on a Monday and received it an hour and a half later - cold. First and last time I order from this place.

This place is so disappointing. The time it takes to receive food is shocking. I have ordered here before and I return because I like the food and deals. But my God do they take forever to deliver or serve food when dining in or getting delivery! It's so sad but this might just be the last time I order from them. It has been two hours since we ordered, why is our food still not here?!

What a sad experience... I went online to make my lunch order. I placed it and then gave them a call to verify everything had gone through because I got a weird error message. I was told that it can take 15-20 minutes for online orders to show. I said that was fine and I would call back. Called back. They said they still did not get it and that it "happens sometimes". I had to ask if I could place my order over the phone. Somewhat annoyed, she said I could. Looking at the computer screen where I had just placed my order, I told her what I wanted. Online the total came to about $23.00 before the delivery fee. I had selected two LUNCH SPECIALS. She then told me the total was $40ish dollars. I questioned the large difference. I asked if this was off the lunch menu. She said yes. I told her the prices that showed on her website. She said the prices were wrong. What in the world?? At this point I didn't have the time to argue, we were working and just needed food brought to us. I asked one last time about the lunch menu, and she said they did not have any (?). During this whole conversation she is being somewhat rude, not knowing what was going on, and put me on hold to ask others. Over an hour after this all started we finally had our food (we work 2 1/2 miles away). The food itself was not bad at all. But the kicker, they included their menu for take out orders... and what do I see? LUNCH SPECIALS and the prices I had told her I saw online. Not cool RIPPING PEOPLE OFF. Also not wise to do it to people that work in a very large office where many people do delivery orders. I will never order from Marcella's again. When I am craving Italian, there are a lot of other options out there. Shame on Marcella's.

AWFUL! They are rude and late and not even good pizza. The staff lies and the managers don't care to hold their staff or themselves accountable for anything. They are over 30-45 minutes late consistently. And have used the line "on their way" for over 20 minutes when the driving distances is 5 minutes. Managers have said they will change and have yet to do so. I hope this company closes soon so that no one else will have to deal with late/bad pizza.

Very poor customer service! I ordered online twice and both times they got my order wrong and took an hour and a half to delivery cold pizza. They either have incompetent employees or young adults who don't care. The drivers who delivered my pizza stunk of cigarettes and looked drugged up. I called to speak with the manager and he argues with me about what I ordered, instead of apologizing to me he gets in a pissy contest with me. Such a shame because Marcella's has good pizza but they lost me due to their poor customer service!

Sad to say ...poor service for a poor excuse for a cold pizza pizza came 625 pm driver was real friendly asked to help me more than anyone I had talk to when I had called ...... This was my first time ordering from here for a catered lunch at work for 25 people. It was about an hour and a half's notice, so I appreciate that they were able to get the food out in such a short time frame ( 1 hr 45 mins). The food was pretty good. However my biggest issue was they seemed highly disorganized. My biggest question is, they advertise "catering" and "takeout" but don't have any serving utensils or plastic cutlery. I ordered pasta and they didn't have anything. I found it quite unprofessional and just disorganized. I deal with many restaurants catering for similar size groups, and this is my first encounter with this problem. Will definitely deter me from going back in the future.

Ordered pizza at 6:21 pm, called at 7:30 to find out where the pizza was and was told it was on its way. The pizza arrived at 7:45 pm - COLD! Called to complain and the manager said I could come in and order anything else new and that he would fire the driver (she got lost). I routinely used to go to this restaurant for pizza at least once a week. Since the new management came in, it hasn't been the same. Of course, the good news is that there are LOTS of other pizza houses around.

This place has the best pizza around. They use the best quality sauce and cheese to make N.Y. style pizza. Their dinners are high quality for a restaurant in a strip plaza. Not to mention their cannoli's are out of this world. They make them fresh every day!

So my mother & I were in the mood for some pasta so she took me to this family owned restaurant in Pembroke Pines. Walking inside you can definitely feel like your in Italy. Lights are dim, wine displayed everywhere. It was very nice. We didn't have to wait long which was good, and the hostess was very friendly. When I sat and took a look at the menu, everything seemed delicious but I thought there was way too much on the menu. It was hard to decide what I wanted so I went with the usual that I would order at any Italian restaurant, chicken Alfredo. We ordered Bruschetta for an appetizer and I got a vegetable soup that came with my pasta. The soup was really good! I'm not too crazy about eating vegetables but this was definitely delicious. The Bruschetta on the other hand was just okay. The tomatoes were really good but I didn't care for the big chunks of garlic and raw onions. I literally took it apart just to eat the bread and tomatoes. With that, they gave us garlic rolls. OMG, to die for (: warm, soft center, light crunch on the outside, the garlic was just perfect, not too much. Then, came the entree.. The chicken Alfredo. It was alright, nothing out of this world though. The noodles were cooked right, but the sauce was too "liquidy". It had good flavor but I rather the sauce be much more thicker. I was only able to eat half of it so I took the rest home. And guess what? The pasta tasted better at night when I warmed it up in the microwave. The sauce was thicker, just to my liking. My mother had the manicotti. She said it tasted really good except for the fact that the edges were burned and hard. I'm not a big fan of marinara sauce so I didn't even bother to taste it. Overall experience, I give it a 6 out of 10. Would I go again? Probably not, unless my mother or someone chose that spot & I had no choice.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
